Mission Statement

The Transit Crisis Committee (TCC) of the Caucus of African American Leaders (CAAL) will build and lead an informed, resolute constituency that will demand and pursue the development, construction, and extension where needed, of an equitable, reliable, multi-modal public transportation system that will provide equitable access to transit and the transit-oriented-development that accompanies a transportation network anchored by light rail meeting local and regional transportation goals.
